Behind every moment of inspiration is a visionary who gives with purpose.

The Connecticut Science Center is honored to celebrate Michael McQuade, whose generosity and leadership helped turn curiosity into discovery and imagination into opportunity. It’s officially reaching new heights 👀🌳

The centerpiece of KidSpace Outdoors is rising, and we can already tell it’s going to be something special. This towering new climbing structure is designed to spark adventure, movement, imagination, and discovery for our youngest explorers. 🧗✨

Inspired by nature and built for collaborative play, the climber will feature multiple levels, interactive elements, and opportunities for kids to explore together in entirely new ways.
And this is just the beginning… Get ready to climb higher in Summer 2026.

Something beautiful is taking root at KidSpace Outdoors 🌿✨

Thanks to the generous support of White Flower Farm, our new outdoor experience will feature vibrant native plants and pollinator-friendly gardens that create the perfect backdrop for exploration, play, and discovery. As families stroll along the new nature boardwalk, they’ll be surrounded by colorful blooms, sensory experiences, and spaces designed to help children connect with the natural world in new ways. 🦋🐝🌼

These gardens won’t just look beautiful; they’ll help bring KidSpace Outdoors to life as a space for curiosity, movement, and hands-on learning. We can’t wait to welcome you outside this summer.
