The Connecticut Museum of Culture and History is honored that information from our Waterman Research Center helped Paul T. O'Connor discover more about his family history, which he documented in his book, The Missing Child.

Sierra Dixon, the Museum's Director of the Research Center, sat down with Paul and Catherine Shen, host of Connecticut Public WNPR's Where We Live, sat down earlier this week to discuss the book and how people can uncover their own family stories through the Museum's research center.

Very grateful to be part of the outstanding Connecticut consortium that's been awarded a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to preserve, describe, and digitally connect archival materials and artifacts documenting Connecticut’s role in the American Revolutionary era. Looking forward to this work between our organizations Connecticut State Library, Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research Center, Native Northeast Research Collaborative, UConn Tribal Education Initiative, U.S. Coast Guard Academy Library Special Collections, and Connecticut's Archives Online at Western Connecticut State University Archives will enrich, engage, and inform our communities.
