Well, look who I found again.
January 2025, West Central.
August 2026, Bloomingdale.
Nineteen months and a different Fort Wayne neighborhood later, apparently this little guy gets around. 😂
I photographed him the first time without ever expecting to see him again. Then there he was, headphones still on, just hanging out on another side of town.
👀Now I kind of need to know where he turns up next.

A steeple appeared above the trees somewhere along the way.
Later, the tracks disappeared into the mist.

How many lives have passed through places like this. How many mornings started before the sun came up. How many storms were watched from the doorway. How many generations knew every creak in those old boards without ever thinking twice about it.
The people change. The years keep moving.

The last movie had ended, but the lights never went out.
Down the road, the old phone began to ring.
Once.
Twice.
By the third ring, the red cross at the edge of town flickered to life.
Then, one by one, the rest of the lights followed.

Funny thing is…

On the last day of Woodstock. 🎶
Tucked away in White Lake, New York, near Bethel and the grounds that would later become famous for Woodstock, sits the old White Lake House.

White Lake began drawing summer visitors in the 1800s, especially those escaping New York City for the fresh mountain air and life along the lake. Hotels and boarding houses began popping up throughout the area, and the White Lake House became part of that early Catskills resort culture, long before the grand resorts of the 20th century put the region on the map. 🗺️
Still standing. Still weathered. Carrying more than a century of Catskills history in those walls. And with a place this old, you have to wonder what stories are still lingering inside those walls… 👀

This probably doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme of things, but it feels like a pretty big move for me. 🥹📷✨

A couple days ago I submitted this barn photo in a group with over 601k members that says only about 10% of submissions are approved because it’s a higher level photography group.
✨And mine got approved. 😭🤯
With that…it hit 6,000+ views, 273 likes and 10 shares in another photography group.

I’ve only recently started putting my photography into different groups, and it’s been pretty darn cool watching my art reach hundreds and thousands of new people along the way.
Putting my work out there like this is new for me. So this little win feels pretty freaking good for Boho Hue. ❤️

One last look at Piatt Castle. 🖤
I saved a few of my favorites for the end.
The kind of place where every turn gave me something else to photograph. Stone tucked behind the gardens, rooflines reaching through the trees, and a library that looked like it had been waiting a century for someone to wander in.
There were a lot of beautiful rooms here, but that library? Yeah. I could’ve stayed awhile.

📸🛑✋🏻One last castle detail… did anyone spot the tiny stone bear tucked into the doorway in the earlier photo? 🐻 Because of course…. I had to go back for a closer look.

And with that, I think we can finally close the castle doors. ✨
