Artlink was founded in 1978 by a group of art enthusiasts, patrons and artists to promote awareness of emerging artists and art forms. HISTORY
1976­ Bruce Linker founded Linker's Gallery in his apartment to showcase emerging artists' work at 1117 1⁄2 Broadway­ Street.

1978 Artlink opened in the summer of 1978 by a group of young artists to promote awareness of emerging artists and art forms at 11

26 Broadway­ Street. This space housed gallery and performance rooms, a studio for artists, and a library.

1988­ Artlink moved to 1030 Broadway Street.

1991­ Artlink became a funded partner of Arts United and moved to the Hall Community Arts Center at 437 E. Berry Street.

2011­ Artlink moved to its current location in the Auer Center for Arts & Culture at 300 East Main Street. This move doubled the size of our gallery space and provided workrooms, office spaces, and two classrooms.

Today’s the day! Dana Caldera’s solo exhibition Family Linens opens today, with a reception from 5-8PM! Come meet Dana and celebrate the hard work and care she put into this incredible body of work! Absolutely everyone is welcome and there is no cost to attend.

In her upcoming solo exhibition, Family Linens, Dana Caldera embraces storytelling through the use of kitchen iconography representative of beloved family memories and traditions from her childhood that she is now passing on to her children. Family Linens consists of fiber and paper artworks created in the nuanced place Caldera finds herself as an artist and homemaker, embracing what has become her domestic arts practice.

Stop in during Taste of the Arts Fort Wayne tomorrow for a special preview of our three new exhibitions: Family Linens by Dana Caldera, and juried group exhibitions Night Vision & MARK: Contemporary Drawing! We’ll be free and open to the public for this unique chance to view the exhibitions prior to their official opening on September 3.

Taste of the Arts Festival celebrates and supports the rich diversity of arts and cultural experiences in our vibrant community. The festival is open to all, providing access to art without cost. Happening August 29 from 11AM - 5PM with activities and performances all around Arts Campus Fort Wayne.

Only a couple weeks left to apply to COMPACT or WAVELENGTH!

COMPACT:Small Works (deadline: Sept 7)
Entry fee: $12 per entry
For our annual juried exhibition COMPACT, Artlink invites artists to submit small works of art that are no larger than 10 inches in any dimension. All mediums are accepted and any artist 18+ years of age residing in the United States is eligible.

WAVELENGTH (deadline: Sept 7)
Entry fee: $12 per entry
Wavelength is an open call for color-specific artwork exploring the physical spectrum of visible color. This year’s exhibition is focused solely on the color of yellow. Artworks do not need to be exclusively yellow, but must have a strong presence of yellow. Artists 18+ years residing in the United States are invited to submit works of any media or size.

Submissions are intaken online only for jurying, no in-person drop offs unless accepted into the exhibition. Learn more and apply at artlinkfw.org under the calls for entry tab!
