Preserving more than eight decades of Naval Special Warfare history requires the continued support of those who believe these stories deserve to be carried forward.

This year’s special raffle offers another way to support that mission. Entries are $20 each, with proceeds benefiting the National Navy SEAL Museum and the work we do to preserve this history for generations to come.

The drawing will take place Saturday, November 7, at the Museum’s 41st Annual Muster.

Medal of Honor recipients don’t always stop by the National Navy SEAL Museum, but when they do, we listen to what they have to say.

LT. Michael E. Thornton (SEAL), USN (Retired), received his MOH through his heroic actions, above and beyond the call of duty, that saved his teammate, LT. Thomas R. Norris (SEAL), USN (Retired), who also received a Medal of Honor during the Vietnam War.

It is the only time that one Medal of Honor recipient saved another in modern U.S. military history.

Pay your respects at the statue honoring Medal of Honor recipients Michael Thornton and Thomas Norris and explore the Museum’s Medal of Honor exhibit at the National Navy SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce, Florida.
