Join us for our Annual Summer Reading Kickoff Party at Van Schaick Park starting at 1 pm. We will have a bounce house, crafts and activities, face painters, balloon art twister, music, giveaways, and Silent Wings Raptor show, Storytime, ice cream and summer reading registration! All sponsored by the Friends of the Cohoes Public Library!!

We want to extend a great big "Thank you" to Pioneer Savings Bank for being a community sponsor for our Summer Reading Program Kickoff. This is going to be an exciting summer, and it all kicks off Sunday, June 7th from 1 to 3 pm with a rain date of Sunday, June 14th at Van Schaick Park!

Unfortunately, due to expected poor weather, our meeting on Saturday will be postponed to Saturday, January 24th! We will be meeting at 11 am and discussing new business for the new year.

While at our Upstate Writes Book Festival this Saturday, consider participating in the Princess Food Drive! Bring a non-perishable food item to the Children's book area of the event and get a photo with a Princess! Donations will go to the Regional Food Bank and thank you to Hill City Ice Queen Princess Parties

Join us on Saturday, November 8 from 11 am to 4 pm for Upstate Writes: A Book Festival! We will be raffling off a New Sealed Leather-Bound Signed edition of Gregory Maguire's Wicked with a signed letter of provenance, as well as the naming rights for a character in Catherine Bruns' future book! Raffle tickets will be sold that day for a $1 a ticket or $10 for 15 tickets. Drawing will happen that day!
