Oh, to be LEGO® Minifig Owen hidden amongst various giant builds in a featured exhibition all about Jurassic World. 🤩

While we can’t “Honey, I Shrunk the Kids” you so that you can traipse through the exhibit in quite the same manner as little Owen here, we CAN offer you a pretty rad day full of building and exploring your way through LEGO® Jurassic World: The Exhibition.

With more than 6 million bricks filling the space—through giant builds and numerous hands-on building stations—it’ll be tough to get bored if you’re a Brickhead who loves everything LEGO.

For these two, they didn’t have to imagine. Arabeth Balasko shared this last image from our summertime batch of photos from the Betz-Marsh Photograph Collection for :
“This duo seemed to be having a nice paddle on a sunny day during the 1940s. This photograph proves that summertime is always the right time for spending a relaxing day on the water!”

Okay, well great. Seeing this just makes me want to get a bird as our office pet (that we will never have, by the way) so we could do fun tricks together. 🙄

Because you know us (or maybe you don't but), we always seem to have a bunch of tricks up our sleeves and today’s is right on par. Arabeth Balasko, our Curator of Photographs, Prints & Media, shared this image from our Betz-Marsh Photograph collection with a little backstory:
“Sarge Marsh captured all sorts of people, places and things during his career—some more intriguing than others. This photograph shows a somewhat strange, yet fascinating event, in which a performer demonstrated how trained birds can do a variety of tricks, including riding a wooden horse across a mini-tightrope!”
