As we approach the America 250 celebration, the theme of Arts, Culture, and Literature, which commences in May, holds particular relevance to this notable artwork in the Carlisle Area Historical Society's collection, a piece I especially admire. Created by Micah Parker, I am seeking information regarding the artist to further enhance my understanding and curatorial notes. Any insights or knowledge regarding Micah Parker's work would be greatly appreciated, enabling me to provide a more comprehensive curation of this piece. KN

Christy Garrett found this in the 1953 yearbook. As you can see, this is Park Drive. Mount's Grocery appears to be Dot's Food. To the left is Richard and Ethel Vanderveer's home, and next to their home is the Carlisle Area Historical Society, which Richard Vanderveer dedicated in memory of his wife. Let us never forget the true meaning behind Memorial Day 🇺🇸.

The May theme for America 250 is Arts, Culture, and Literature. We are pleased to feature a local author who has written several remarkable books. Thank you, Tom, for allowing me to do this video and sharing your work. You are amazing.
