Our newest exhibition Craft: Revolutionary & Now puts 18th century objects in dialogue with pieces from contemporary artists.

In this comparison we have a Revolutionary War era, 18th century, Paul Revere Lamp and a modern lighting piece with a similar form from artist Patrick Cuffe. Materials like wood, glass, and brass connect the objects over the breadth of time that separates the dates of their manufacture.

Special thanks to The Fort Plain Museum for allowing us to borrow several pieces for this exhibition.
