We are delighted to introduce our embroidery instructor Onna….
Onna Schwindt is a mixed media bead and embroidery artist residing in El Cerrito, California. She has been doing embroidery since her childhood, and has over 35 years of experience with beadwork. Join us for a hands-on Study session to identify various lace and embroidery techniques with Jules Kliot!
September 12, 2026 1-3pm
We’ll examine a selection of lace pieces from the LMLT collection, learning to identify different techniques and clues that can help us determine their age and provenance.
If you have a special piece from your own collection that you’ve always wondered about, bring it along to share with the group! We welcome examples that spark curiosity, conversation, and discovery.
To make sure everyone has an opportunity to participate we will only examine a limited number of personal pieces.
