This outfit, made by Jen Furman, features an upcycled swing jacket adorned with graphic black passementerie trim. Beneath it, is an A-line slip dress crafted from embroidered mesh sourced from a fabric swap. Embellished with a statement shoulder corsage, crafted using materials from the Lacis Museum of Lace and Textiles. The corsage includes two grab bags of lace ribbon, floral wire, and two sets of silk leaves, made in Japan. We’ve got grab bags aplenty! Beaded Cabochon with Onna

Discover the art of bead-embroidered cabochons as you transform a flat-backed rhinestone into a stunning focal point. Your finished cabochon can become a pendant, key chain, or can be incorporated into another embroidery project.
You’ll learn a beadweaving technique to create an elegant bezel and do a bit of bead embroidery. Some experience with needle and thread is helpful, but adventurous beginners are also welcome!

Crocheted Beaded Bracelets

In this class, you will learn to crochet a roll-on beaded bracelet using a single basic crochet stitch, the slip stitch! Catherine Hounshell will teach you her signature method to create a perfectly finished bracelet with a hidden seam. Lace Detectives🕵🏽‍♀️! This incredible collar walked in our door with a mysterious past and a juicy backstory. We fired up the microscope and took a closer look to find that she’s a Point de Neige of a very fine quality, ornamented with tassels. She’s been around the black but what a dame! When was the last time you saw tassels like these? 😮‍💨

This four-session, hands-on class is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of bobbin lace-making in a friendly, supportive setting. Each class will introduce a new project and technique with time to practice in between sessions.
