Come spend your Thursday morning with Amanda Martin and us next week, Thursday, September 3!

Amanda is the author of Henry the Star-Spangled Spaniel and will be at Knock Knock for a special storytime! She will also be accompanied by Henry himself, the star of her book! 🐶🇺🇸

Children will have the opportunity to hear Amanda read her book, meet Henry, interact with Amanda, and ask questions about her journey to becoming an author.

10 years makes quite the difference!

While many are reminiscing about 2016, we couldn’t be happier for it to be 2026! Ten years ago, the museum was still being built and we had so many hopes and dreams.

In the 9 years we’ve been open, we’ve welcomed over one million visitors (including being closed for 1.5 years due to the pandemic).

We’re so grateful for the support we received in 2016, we couldn’t be where we are today without it! #2016

One of our furry friends from Bayou Buddies Pet Therapy , who visits Knock Knock, has been named a Semifinalist in the 16th Annual American Humane Hero Dog Awards in the Therapy Dog category! 💜

Goosey is one of theremarkable dogs being recognized for the difference they make in their communities, and we couldn’t be more excited to see one of our furry friends receive this incredible honor!

Now, we’re asking our Knock Knock community to vote for Goosey and help her make it to the finals! 🗳️🐶
