🧠 Did you know? Port Discovery Children's Museum is a certified Sensory Inclusive facility through KultureCity, a nationally recognized organization that provides sensory inclusion training and tools to venues and large-scale events.

That means we're here to help every child feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn through play. 💛

This October 12, 13 & 15 from 10 AM to 1 PM, we're hosting Access & Play Days, a calmer, more supportive museum experience for groups with discounted admission for $7 per person.
These days are designed for groups who benefit from added sensory support, because sometimes our little ones need a little more calm to enjoy the day.

Here's what to expect:
✨ Limited attendance
✨ Reduced sound and lighting
✨ A dedicated Quiet Zone to rest and reset
✨ Sensory kits and a Sensory Cart where kids can build their own Sensory Bag
✨ Supportive, trained staff
✨ Self-guided exploration at their own pace

Play is for everyone, and we can't wait to welcome your group!
To book your trip, please contact Group Sales at 410-864-2727 or [email protected].

New costumes are coming to the Playhouse this fall! 🎭✨

Every cape, crown, and cozy costume piece was handmade with care by our very own Exhibit Design Technician, Bella Lancelotta. 🧵💛

Our littlest explorers are about to step into brand new roles, and we can't wait to see the stories they create.

Thank you, Bella, for bringing so much imagination and craftsmanship to our Museum! 👏

Check out this bold new mural at our entryway, designed by Exhibit Design Technician Bella Lancelotta and hand painted by Facilities Manager Anthony Wilson. Stripes, shapes, and a whole lot of color now greet families as they head toward the S.S. Friend Ship and the Sky Climber.

Behind every playful moment is a team working hard to keep the museum fresh, safe, and full of wonder. Our exhibits and facilities crews are always designing, painting, building, and fixing so that every visit feels like an adventure.

Thank you, Bella and Anthony, for adding even more color to our museum! 💙
