I have to say how impressed I am with all the variety of memento mori rings and Día de los Mu***os themed jewelry Susan McDonough fabricates in WNC.

This latest collection probably has a few desirable pieces that can help you remember we are all mortal, so remember to live.

Ignite has had the privilege to showcase Susan's work for many years now. In writing this I realize I need one of her rings for that reminder myself these days. (Shopping for it tomorrow Susan!!!)

Last week Shannon Lucas Jewelry cast her son his wedding band(s) at Ignite Jewelry Studios. They turned out so well!!!!!!

Join us tomorrow morning for our Session that will get you started on your wax carving and casting journey. You can then attend Open Studios and carve at Ignite where our communal carving and wax equipment will be at your disposal (including a set of Kate Wolf Tools & Waxes carving tools).

Currently we offer DIY casting (with expert help) twice/month.

A new chapter is about to begin... my youngest will start Kindergarten this week!

I started Ignite and started a family at the same time. It's been challenging to say the least, but also so rewarding. Ignite has grown right along with my kids... and despite all the challenges we are stronger than ever!

There's so many new classes and we've expanded our Drop-In Jewelry Making!

I look forward to what this new chapter will hold for many years to come, including teaching the craft to my kiddos!

It's hard to believe my littlest is about to start Kindergarten.... we've had a fun end to the summer break and even a bit of time in the studio while mom tackles a few time sensitive projects. While bittersweet, I'm excited for this new chapter.
