Located in Asheville's historic Grove Park Inn, Gallery of the Mountains celebrates the artistic talent of Southern Appalachia. Since 1984, our gallery has featured handmade works by over 100 local and regional artists. Discover curated collections of artisan-made jewelry, home décor, unique gifts, and Asheville-themed mementos. We are locally owned and operated. We just received a fresh batch of pottery from McNeill’s Pottery at Gallery of the Mountains, including these fun Single Chocolate Chip Cookie Dishes. Each handcrafted ceramic dish comes with a recipe card—simply mix the ingredients right in the dish, pop it in the microwave, and enjoy one warm, oversized chocolate chip cookie. 😋

A full spectrum of scarves and shawls handmade by the weavers at Crossnore 🌈

Crossnore School & Children’s Home is a non-profit residential foster care home providing a sanctuary for hope and healing for children in crisis from North Carolina. By purchasing one of their handmade scarves or blankets, you are helping to bring hope and healing to the children and families they serve. On their campus in the town of Crossnore, they host an art gallery, weaving studio, and exhibition space known as the Weaving Room, which is also on the National Register of Historic Places.
