In celebration of 𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢-𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲, Casa Gorordo Museum invites you to look beyond the walls of heritage houses and into the stories, memories, and everyday lives they have witnessed.

Introducing 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐌𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐘: 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐝𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐧, 𝐊𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐮𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐧, a special exhibition featuring vintage houses from the historic barangays of Parian and Tinago. Through photographs and visual documentation, the exhibition offers a glimpse into Cebu’s changing built heritage and the homes that once shaped its communities.

If you’ve successfully registered for the Gabii sa Kabilin (GSK) at 20 Kick-off, then you may now claim your wristband at:

Please present your valid ID upon claiming.

🎟️ Your GSK Kick-off wristband gives you access to ALL participating sites and allows you to avail of the designated GSK bus rides. Bus trips will run until 9:30 PM on October 2.

📢 MUSEUM ADVISORY

Today, September 9, 2026, is a special non-working holiday in Cebu City and throughout the Province of Cebu in observance of Osmeña Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of former President Sergio Osmeña Sr.

In observance of the holiday, the 1730 Jesuit House Museum will be open only until 12:00 noon today.

Planning to visit us today? Please make sure to arrive before 12:00 noon! We encourage visitors to plan their trip accordingly and make the most of their museum visit.

With deep sadness, Mr. Jimmy Sy and the entire 1730 Jesuit House Museum family mourn the passing of Dr. Resil B. Mojares, a distinguished historian, scholar, and beloved son of Cebu.

Beyond his invaluable contributions to Cebu’s history and heritage, Dr. Resil Mojares shared a special and cherished friendship with Sir Jimmy Sy. Their friendship, rooted in a shared love for Cebu, its history, and its people, was one that we will always remember with fondness and gratitude.

We are deeply grateful for Dr. Mojares’ lifelong dedication to preserving and illuminating our shared heritage. His scholarship, wisdom, and passion have inspired generations and will continue to live on through the stories he helped bring to life.

Our deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives he touched.

Rest in peace, Dr. Resil Mojares.
Your friendship, wisdom, and legacy will forever remain part of Cebu’s story.
