Meet the artists at 4s4s on 25.9.

Siyoung Jun is an artist working with generative sound and interactive installation. Her practice explores the randomness of sound and auditory perception through generative systems and spatial sound. Free the Ears is a live sound work that sits at the intersection of installation and performance, continuously generating new sonic chains through interactions with space and creating unpredictable transformations of noise and phonetic ambiguity. During the performance, the ears become both a vulnerable sensory organ and an active agent. The audience is invited to move beyond the role of the passive listener, oscillating between listener and speaker.

4s4s on 25.9. presents:

Sanki’s Attunement III – Field is a live audiovisual performance centred around water, resonance, and spatial sound. An illuminated water tank functions as both instrument and interface. A camera reads shifting patterns of brightness across the water’s surface, translating these fluctuations into sound through Max/MSP. Ripples, bubbles, and subtle physical disturbances continuously reshape the light, allowing small changes in the water to propagate into the sonic environment.
Developed from Attunement II – Signal, this new iteration expands the work into a multichannel environment. Sounds drift, disperse, and transform across multiple speakers, turning the surrounding space into an extension of the water’s unstable surface. Physical gestures, electronic transformation, image, and spatial movement continuously influence one another, forming a shifting audiovisual field
