Originally from Ukraine and now based in Amsterdam, we first discovered Zina through her bold, contemporary portraits of women. Her distinctive graphic style, strong lines and expressive use of colour immediately caught our attention.

MY PERSONAL ART WALL ❤️

My gallery wall at home is a mix of works by artists from ILI Gallery, pieces I’ve collected over the years, gifts, photographs and, of course, art my kids made when they were young.

Some pieces are valuable, some have very little monetary value, but every one has a story. Together, they tell the story of our home and the people in it.

A few things I’ve learned along the way:

— Start with one piece you really love.
— Mix different sizes, artists and mediums.
— Don’t be afraid to combine paintings, photography, drawings and objects.
— Add something personal; a child’s drawing, a photograph or a piece with a memory attached.
— Lay everything out on the floor first and play with the composition.
— And let it evolve. A gallery wall should never feel completely finished.

ILI GALLERY — THE NEXT STEP ❤️

After six wonderful years in De Hallen Amsterdam, it’s time for the next step.

ILI Gallery is leaving its permanent space and moving into a new, more flexible chapter — with pop-up exhibitions, curated art projects, collaborations and new locations.

And what better way to announce this next step than with this work by Piet Paris, perfectly capturing the feeling of taking a big step forward.

Because fashion is always on the move.

And so am I.

New places. New collaborations. New audiences.

Same passion for contemporary fashion illustration.
