Celebrating four years of APRE Art House.
Four years of exhibitions, intensives, conversations, research, experiments, and the kind of programming we set out to build from the beginning.
We have moved spaces. We have grown. We have changed in ways we could not have anticipated. But through it all, what has stayed with us is the community that showed up.
Artists who trusted us with their work. Curators and collaborators who believed in an idea and helped us shape it. Patrons, collectors, friends of the gallery, and so many of you who kept coming back, supporting us, challenging us, and growing with us.
Over four years, APRE has grown beyond the conventional gallery model, building an evolving ecosystem around contemporary art through exhibitions, performance, research, writing, fellowships, grants, and experimental platforms for dialogue and exchange. Much of this has been about creating spaces that did not yet exist, and supporting practices that deserve greater visibility, critical attention, and sustained engagement.
As we enter our fifth year, our ambition is to continue building an institution that is rigorous in its thinking, experimental in its approach, and expansive in its reach, while contributing meaningfully to the evolving cultural landscape of South Asia and beyond.
