Szeptemberben nyílt Waliczky Tamás Eleven című egyéni kiállítása a hongkongi Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre galériaterében.

A kiállításon 11 animációs installáció látható, amelyek közül hetet korábban a Molnár Ani Galériában is bemutattunk. A mostani tárlat Waliczky Tamás munkáinak első hongkongi bemutatkozása.

Tamás Waliczky’s solo exhibition ELEVEN has opened at the gallery space of the Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre in Hong Kong.

The exhibition brings together eleven computer animation installations, seven of which were previously presented at Ani Molnár Gallery. This is the first time these works are being presented in Hong Kong.

The exhibition features:

The starting point for Ádám Boruzs’s paintings lies in waveforms and various data-based structures. At first glance, these forms may resemble diagrams or measurement results, however, the works do not depict specific scientific phenomena. Once transferred into the medium of painting, their original function recedes into the background, while their original structure remains present.

In his works, Ádám Boruzs is not seeking to answer the question of what a particular signal means, but rather how something becomes the carrier of meaning for us. Where does the boundary lie between data and image, system and pattern, information and perception? And what happens to a signal when we no longer know its source, yet still attempt to read it?

Ádám Boruzs graduated in painting from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2018. His first solo exhibition took place in 2012, since then he has been awarded numerous prestigious professional prizes, including the Junior Master of Light Award in 2017, the Decode “Promising Project” Award in 2020, and the opportunity to participate in the Art Residency Program of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2022.

Meet the next exhibiting artist, Veronika Csonka — whose practice turns invisible living systems visible, sparking curiosity by exploring how these organisms work while highlighting the strangeness and beauty behind them. With her works she is opening up unexpected ways of exploring the territory between nature, technology and scientific imagination.

Using a 3D pen and recycled PLA, she creates sculptural forms inspired by microorganisms and hybrid organic structures. Her solo exhibition opens September 17.

Born in 1992 in Siófok, Hungary, Csonka lives and works in Budapest. She graduated from the Painting Department of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2019. Since her first solo exhibition at am projects by Ani Molnár Gallery in 2024, she has presented her work in solo, duo and group exhibitions in Budapest and Paris, and is part of the Secondary Archive.

This week, Sonia Navarro’s Lindes was presented in Budapest as part of Art4Peace, an international cultural-diplomatic exhibition bringing together artists and artworks from different national contexts.

At the heart of the exhibition is a simple yet meaningful concept: each participating Embassy is invited to select an artwork that represents an aspect of its national culture. The Embassy of Spain chose Sonia Navarro for the occasion and invited Molnár Ani Gallery to take part in the programme by presenting one of her works.

The week-long exhibition is primarily conceived as a diplomatic and cultural event, with the aim of contributing to the promotion of peace through cultural dialogue and bridge-building.

Representing Spain, Lindes entered a shared space where art becomes a means of thinking across borders. The exhibition brings together the diplomatic and cultural communities in Budapest, with the aim of exploring how culture and art can contribute to a more connected and peaceful world.

Szeptember 15-én 18 órakor nyílik a Vasarely Múzeumban az OSAS – Pièces Uniques című kiállítás, amelyen a galéria által képviselt két művész, Konok Tamás és Wolsky András munkái is láthatók lesznek.

Az OSAS (Open Structures Art Society) célja, hogy fenntartsa és láthatóvá tegye a geometrikus-konkrét művészet folytonosságát a magyar művészetben – azt a progresszív hagyományt, amely a 20. század elejétől meghatározó része a hazai művészettörténetnek. Az egyesület egyik alapítója Konok Tamás, a tagjai és meghatározó alkotói között pedig olyan elismert művészeket találunk, mint Nádler István, Maurer Dóra vagy Vera Molnár.

On September 15 at 6 PM, the Vasarely Museum will open OSAS – Pièces Uniques, an exhibition featuring works by two of our represented artists, Tamás Konok and András Wolsky.

OSAS (Open Structures Art Society) is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the continuity of geometric and concrete art—a progressive tradition in Hungarian art since the early 20th century. Among the association’s founders is Tamás Konok, alongside such prominent artists as István Nádler, Dóra Maurer, and Vera Molnár.

We are delighted to present Veronika Csonka's solo show 'What has been here all along' at Ani Molnár Gallery.

The exhibition takes observation as an artistic practice as its point of departure, exploring the ways in which we can connect with nature and the living systems operating around us within a way of life increasingly shaped by urban environments, technology, and indirect experience.

The exhibition 'What has been here all along' does not focus on the question of defining nature. Rather, it highlights the tools we use to try to understand nature and how observation itself shapes our relationship with it. The exhibition follows the stages of the artist’s own attempts at reconnecting, while also offering viewers the opportunity to get closer to the systems that surround us. Through her works, Veronika Csonka does not propose a return to a lost, idealised nature, but instead invites us to recognise that the possibility of connection may have never disappeared entirely, we simply need to learn to notice what has been here all along.
