Gloopy course showcase - Fuse Party

Laichan LAB🧪!

Gloopy course showcase - Fuse Party
Indige HK Thanks!!

We are thrilled to have launched this incredibly fun gloopy glaze course this year. Across just five sessions, students explored how blending colored clay with fluxes impacts the final outcome, learned the melting behaviors of clay and glaze, mastered glazing techniques, and discovered how to apply Gloop. They also effortlessly created a series of small sculptural pieces using these materials. All three student groups completed this journey with immense satisfaction. We hope these accomplishments inspire other curious students to take the leap and experience the joy of Gloopy Glaze for themselves!

gloriaLWS

Sway Beyond

Born from the “The shores & Islets” dining table, this work turns the act of dining into a sensory experiment in balance. The tilted white porcelain cup symbolizes the unique self, while the red clay driftwood metaphorically represents the relationships we lean on in life—be it a partner, a city, or a profound connection.
No man is an island. Rejecting the stability of traditional tableware, the shift of gravity with every raise, sip, and set-down causes the base to sway, capturing the subtle yet real tugs and pulls within a relationship.
The soul of the piece lies in collective participation. As the distinct rhythms of lifting cups intertwine, the dining table transforms into a rippling sea. It invites us to let go of our obsession with absolute stability, look inward amid the swaying, and feel the authentic rhythm that moves with our hearts.

The Wonder of Imagination
Imagine when we knew the least, we imagined the most freely—unrestrained, liberated, and beautiful.

Yufang Hu

Price $1100/pc
15 limited edition
———————————

Photo credit : Wong Pak Hang Lemna of the alchemist

Laichankee Studio Course

這次課程計劃中,邀請了各位artist-tutor 作分享、交流及教授藝術的內容,特別鳴謝 Rebeka Tam rebekatam.rt Benny To 陶啟安 / To Kai On Benny , Reds Cheung Reds Cheung , Amie Chan Amie_Ngaman 同行,期待學員的成果展。
