Despite the rain this morning we are open from 13:00

Miniature steam rides on the Midland and Riverside Railway today.

Catch the boat from Granary Quay, opposite the water to Broads Tours, (What3Words ///panning.redeeming.forever). Admission is £10 per adult and £5 per child with unlimited train rides on the Midland and Riverside Railways, free Tea Coffee and Squash from Dickersons Diner.

Barton House Railway is open tomorrow from 13:00-16:30.

Come and enjoy Miniature steam train rides, homemade cakes from Dickersons Diner, Museum and a boat trip from Wroxham Bridge. All included in the admission of £10 per adult and £5 per child

Our Summer Steam Family Day would not have been as much of a success without the assistance of Miniature Railway Workshop for the loan of the K2 and Top Field Light Railway for the additional drivers and support. It has turned out to be one of our most successful running in our 63 year history. We will be discussing later on in the year about next year…watch this space!

Our next running will be on the 20th September from 13:00-16:30.

Good morning everyone,
We hope you have been enjoying the nice weather.

Things are changing at our railway.
From our May running you will just pay one entry fee and the afternoon is yours. Ride the steam/electric trains on both railways as much as you like, visit the museum and also enjoy free tea/coffee and squash.
The only additional things to pay for are the 'drive a loco' and a small donation to visit the signal box.
There will be no more tickets to keep hold of, no more 1st class or 3rd class options.

Good afternoon everyone
Firstly, thank you to everyone that visited us on Easter Monday. It was a brilliant turn out with lots of new visitors.

Secondly, we are open tomorrow as advertised from 13:00 to 16:30. Steam trains, electric trains, boat trips and a museum to look round. Also refreshments available too.

Prices start from £5.00 entry per adult and £2.50 per child.
