So honoured that two of my works, ‘Playful’ and this one ‘Wild Horses’, have been selected as finalists for the David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year competition!

I am beyond thrilled that these two paintings will be heading to London for the Artist of the Year exhibition next month.

As the new collection starts to sneak its way onto the website (link in the bio) here’s a throwback to one of my favourites from last year.

“Curly Hare” sees a liquid acrylic paint pour in turquoise and white, with the hare painted in oil over the top in a radial, high energy motion. I’d wanted to do this composition for years, and some of you may recognise the individual characters from the 2020 and 2018 collections, but it took one final puzzle piece to find its way into balance and…. Booom 💥 🔥

Not just 100 years old, but 100 years of passion for the natural world.

No man has been more influential in educating the human population about the glory of nature and the solemn duty we have to protect it. This is but a small tribute to a great man.
