Everyday Wigan, Gerrard Winstanley House, Crawford Street, Wigan (2026)

16/10/2026

We are SO excited to be partnering up with Ben & Jerry's to host a special collaborative workshop in Wigan to celebrate the launch of their brand new ice-cream flavour ‘LOVE Nut Hate’ centred around the theme of community power!

Together, we will be creating a Community Quilt mural made from all of your individual patchwork squares that show what we all love about Wigan. This can be a memory, a person, a place, a quote or a word that helps bring all the great things about our town to life!

Come along on Saturday the 24th October to decorate and contribute your own patch of power.💪 We’ll have a wide range of materials available for all skill levels, no previous textiles experience necessary as our Everyday team will be there to help guide you through the process!

This activity is open to all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult. This session is FREE to attend and will run as a drop in activity, however booking is encouraged to give us an idea on numbers and how much ice cream to bring!🍦

Don't forget to book onto Mini Makers and help inspire our Light Night window display!✨🌈

As part of Light Night Wigan 2026 the Everyday team will be creating a paper cut-out display for the windows above the old post office and we need the creativity of your little ones to help inspire our designs. 😍

This year’s theme is ‘The Unexpected’ and what’s more wonderfully unpredictable than children’s artwork? We’ll be exploring collage and drawing crafts in these sessions to answer the question ‘what can I make to bring joy to my town?’

So, join us for a morning of joyful making whilst your little ones get the chance to explore their creativity and socialise with children of a similar age. ❤

Teas and coffees will be available during the session☕
