Big thank you Ellie from HOPE not hate for leading a workshop for members of the cultural sector in Wigan. This was an amazing opportunity for the sector to consider how we can collaborate to bring people together, to strengthen communities, and celebrate the diversity of our communities, places and stories. Thank you to everyone who attended and The Old Courts Wigan for hosting.

Are you part of a cultural & heritage organisation based in Wigan Borough? Are you preparing an application to a funding organisation to support a public facing/community engagement programme?

Wigan Council has launched the Wigan Cultural Development Match Funding programme to provide local organisations and individuals with a percentage of the overall cost of their project.

Applications can be made anytime until March 2025, but there is a limited amount available, and funding is awarded on a “first come first serve” basis.

Applicants can submit a request for up to £2,000 per application.

For details on eligibility and how to apply, visit: www.theturnpikegallery.org.uk/About-us/Cultural-Development-Match-Fund.aspx
