Full house. Over 700 of you came through the doors tonight, and the room did not empty once.

Artists from all over the world on one wall, drinks in hands, and that noise you only get when a room is actually having a good time. Thank you to everyone who showed, everyone who came, and everyone who stayed until the end.

Meet Nevaeh.

Born in 1994 and working as a photographer in Boston since 2015, with a degree in Psychology from Lesley University and a plan to one day bring the two together through art therapy.

Her work is about the versatility of the Black community, and Black femmes in particular, capturing their personalities, culture, stories and experiences. Bold colour theory meets the intimacy of portraiture, and the result is work that reaches for the essence of the person in front of the lens.

She is building a bridge within the community, so people can look at these images and find kinship, and see their own stories looking back.

Meet Anna Darieva.

A Moscow based artist working in primitivism. Born in Kazakhstan in 2000, she moved to Saint Petersburg after school, and then to Moscow.

Her work strips people and nature back to unreal forms with the smallest number of details, which lets her say more with less and leaves room for the viewer to fill in the rest. She loves experimenting with colour, giving every piece its own emotional temperature, bright and hard to forget.

And then there is the paint itself. Anna lays it on thick, so the details sit up off the surface and you can almost feel the w**e glass in her heroine’s hand.

Anna exhibited with us in Paris and New York.
