El Antídoto was a grassroots fundraiser night to support communities in Cuba affected by Hurricane Melissa.

Through a full evening of Cuban music, dance and community energy, we raised funds to cover urgent medical and material needs on the island - from medicines and essential supplies to on-the-ground mutual aid efforts.

The night opened with a beginner-friendly salsa class hosted by Rueda Libre, who also led multiple ruedas throughout the event - keeping the floor alive, connected and welcoming for everyone.

The fundraiser was organised by MAREAS, a small community-led initiative linking Cuba and its diaspora.

If you shared, donated, danced or showed up in any way: you were part of that tide of solidarity.
