What makes Brickish Brickish?

For B in the Brickish Alphabet, what else to use than Brickish itself: B is for Brickish.

Since 2002, Brickish has been bringing together LEGO® fans from across the UK — helping builders, collectors, exhibitors and friends connect through a shared hobby.

Find out a little more about the community behind the bricks in our latest post:

From classic road cars to race cars, custom builds and everything in between — vehicles are always a popular theme with Brickish members.

One of the great things about the LEGO® hobby is the variety of ideas builders bring to life, and cars are always guaranteed to draw a crowd.

Which one catches your eye first? And more importantly… which would you drive home?

What makes Brickish, Brickish?

It is the people behind it — the builders, collectors, exhibitors, volunteers and LEGO® fans who come together across the UK to share ideas, inspire each other and enjoy the hobby together.

Over the coming weeks we are sharing a little more about what makes up the Brickish community, by using the Brickish Alphabet, starting with A.

A is for AFOL — Adult Fan of LEGO®.

A familiar term across the LEGO® world, but also a big part of what Brickish is all about.

Because being part of Brickish is not about building in one particular way. Some members create huge displays. Some collect. Some volunteer at events. Some come along to local meet-ups. Some are returning to LEGO® after years away.

What brings it all together is a shared love of all aspects of LEGO® and being part of a wider community that enjoys building, sharing and inspiring others.

We have put together a blog post looking at A is for AFOL and why it says so much about the Brickish community.
