It's the start of the working week, so let us cheer you with these fabulous #MondayBlues hats from the collection.
1) Hat made by Donald Lovat Fraser; blue, small crown, asymmetric brim with a headstrap that fits behind the head. Blocked buckram foundation covered with fabric and embroidered in sky blue thread. Late 20th century reproduction of a hat dating from 1938.
2) Sculpted turquoise blue feather circlet hat; made by Frederick Fox, around 1980.
3) Royal blue slouch hat; with bow detail to one side; from the millinery department at Debenham & Freebody (Debenhams!), 1950s/60s.
4) Pillbox hat, covered with teal velvet, and trimmed with turquoise satin ribbon around the crown, which meets at the nape and forms a bow. Label is 'Condor Model', 1960s.
All of these beautiful hats are safely packed away while we work on the Hat Works re-development....
