Wildflower Meadow -Marguerites

Original available to purchase from my studio in Stalham, Norfolk, or via my website. Link in the bio

Some of my favourite flowers dancing in a meadow. I just think they’re so full of joy and happiness, I can’t help but smile when I see them. They make my heart happy which is the best feeling.

The smaller flower detail of this painting was created using a pinhead, a very therapeutic way to paint, I was totally lost in myself whilst doing it, totally at peace.

Acrylic on canvas

Original canvas is 33.4 x 23.6 x .4ā€ and ready to hang.

This piece is called Vulnerability Under Intensity, it’s another personal piece created during a testing time in my life when I had just rediscovered by true love of art, the kind of carefree art I made at school!!! The bright colours are reflective of the deep feelings I had at the time and they are layered with partly visible text.
A moving piece created from a deeply human experience

This piece is available through my Saatchi Art profile, the link is in my bio.

Available in various sizes and formats to suit any space

A real video by a real person, as you’ll see because it’s totally bumbled and my menopausal brain couldn’t even find the word ā€˜video’ in my head this morning!!!

Anyway I thought about not posting this and then I decided to just go for it. I did a similar post a few weeks ago saying how good my mental health was at the moment. Well in the last few weeks things have changed and I’m back in therapy, I totally didn’t see that happening again any time soon, but hey, life throws these curve ball’s in when it thinks you can handle it, and I was still on such a high from being long listed for this years VAO so a little trauma was obviously on the cards for me!!

Anyway just to say, this little blip has spurred me on and I have an idea for an awesome new piece that I’ll start work on next month. I can definitely see a theme developing in my work, and it definitely seems to be on the lines of mental health and healing.

I will get through this next chapter and I will be stronger for it, and hopefully I can encourage others in a similar situation to be as strong or stronger.

Be kind to each other , you never know what’s behind someone’s smile 😊

Berlin Wall šŸ§”šŸ’›šŸ’™

Bold, layered and full of urban energy, Berlin Wall is an abstract artwork originally created on a wooden panel.

Blocks of vivid orange, yellow, red and deep blue collide across the surface, while scraped-back areas and broken marks give the piece a weathered, almost architectural quality. The composition feels alive with history, movement and contrast — like fragments of colour, memory and structure held within one surface.

Shown here as a framed statement piece, Berlin Wall brings confidence, warmth and a strong contemporary edge to an interior.

Available through Saatchi Art in a variety of print sizes and formats, making it possible to choose the version that best suits your space.

Meno Mirror by Deborah Phillips is exactly what it says on the tin, a mirror or menopausal madness, all the good, bad and ugly in one piece of art, with the over arching message that we are all enough, we will get through this and we will be stronger for it!!!
