Monday 1st June is the 1st day of National Volunteers Week. Without our volunteers there would be no The Isle of Wight Bus Museum . Our volunteers go above and beyond to keep the buses restored and running and keep the museum going by giving their precious time and skills to ensure that you have a great visit. The roles undertaken vary from cafe and shop duties to welcoming visitors at the entrance. Engineering and bodywork perfectionists, knowledgeable speakers for guided tours and visiting various organisations giving historical talks to archivists protecting our historic artifacts. Drivers and conductors, School visits, secretarial roles and much more. We are always looking for new volunteers who can bring their experience and expertise to our museum so if you have a few spare hours each week come along and join our happy team. Lots of tea and drinking and biscuit eating skills essential!!
