ISLE OF WIGHT SCOOTER RALLY 🛵🛵
Here at the Museum of Ryde we have a scooter rally exhibition with lots of photos from previous rallies and a whole lot more, plus local history, a Victorian ice well ( with an amazing echo - so if you wish to practice your WHO and THE JAM tunes it's a great place) and the cheeky works of postcard artist Donald McGill - We are situated in the Royal Victoria Arcade in Union Street - which also has a nostalgic cafe Brew by Craft and Jeff's records with lots of memorabilia.
The museum is £5 admission, £1 ( children aged 8-16 ) and under 8's free. Your ticket lasts 14 days.
Open from Tuesday to Saturday 10.30am to 4pm last entry at 3.15pm.

We have GREAT PRIDE in our museum and GREAT PRIDE in our visitors too and We are celebrating GREAT PRIDE tomorrow
Please come and visit us, chat to our volunteers and in our Tony Packer Room we have a lovely cuddly named Pidge who you are most welcome to hug.
We are also a safe haven for people if you feel under any threat not just for Pride but every day when we are open, no cost for this.
Our museum is open for PRIDE Saturday and from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10.30am until 4pm with the last entry at 3.15pm £5 Adults, £1 children ( age 8-16) under 8's free, we also have children's activities. Plus your ticket lasts for 14 days.

The Museum is going to be open this coming Sunday 5th July to fit in with the Antiques and collectibles fair in the Royal Victoria Arcade in Union Street 😃 If you fancy coming down for a nosey and learning more about local history and also to see the cheeky works of Donald McGill - We look forward to seeing you.
We have plenty of history dating back 'WELL OVER' 200 years and on the subject of 'WELL' we have a Victorian ice well and a recently found oven and a children's activities table.

ARMED FORCES WEEK 2026 🪖🪖
A MASSIVE WELL DONE TO OUR CURRENT ARMED FORCES and OUR PAST ARMED FORCES
Here in our Museum we have plenty of Ryde military history and The Isle of Wight Rifles and plenty more local history dating back to the Victorians, including a Victorian ice well.
We are open from Tuesday to Saturday 10.30am until 4pm last entry at 3.15pm
£5 adults - £1 children ( age 8-16) and under 8's free and your ticket lasts 14 days - we also have a children's activities table.
We are located in the Royal Victoria Arcade in the basement by Brew by Craft which serves delicious food and drinks.

THIS THURSDAY 25th JUNE is our monthly PUB QUIZ at YELF'S in Ryde Union Street - if you're visiting the Island or live on the Island everyone is welcome - the quiz starts at 7.30 but we recommend arriving early to get a table. £4 entry, plus our £10 question and our popular raffle - We look forward to seeing you. All proceeds go to the museum 😀
