Brading Roman Villa Secures £10,000 Grant to Uncover Hidden Stories of the Villa

Brading Roman Villa’s project will collect oral histories from local people who took part in community archaeological investigations at the site in the 21st century

These stories will be presented in a new exhibition, hosted both digitally and at the Museum itself. A suite of workshops will give a new generation the chance to try non-invasive archaeological methods on site and respond creatively too

Our museum shop features a selection of historical books alongside beautiful locally made items by Isle of Wight artists and makers ,perfect for gifts or a special keepsake.

You can also enjoy the Forum Café or visit the art exhibition by Poppy Morris during your visit which is free.
