This commission is open to artists from the Global Ethnic Majority worldwide, as well as artists based in Nottinghamshire, with a commission fee of up to £10,000 available for the successful proposal.

Reminder: ASDA Hyson Green Mural Commission

Applications are still open for the Beyond the Walls mural commission at ASDA Hyson Green, delivered in partnership with New Art Exchange and ASDA.

We’re looking for proposals from artists from the Global Ethnic Majority worldwide and artists based in Nottinghamshire to create a bold new mural across three wall panels, inspired by the voices and stories of long-standing ASDA Hyson Green team members.

The selected artist will receive a commission fee of up to £10,000.

Want to learn how to produce festivals and creative events?

We are looking for young creatives aged 18–30 in Nottingham to join the YOUnique Collective, a chance to develop skills in arts, culture, and event production while co-creating a major festival takeover at NAE in March 2027.

You’ll gain:
