Studiodo is a Ceramics studio in Norwich "We are a small ceramic studio in the heart of Norwich, England. Check out our galleries to see what we do at StudioDo."

Our aim is to offer people of all abilities the opportunity to experience the rewards of making things in clay. We hold classes in an evening and workshops from time to time. We have the facility to offer space to other practitioners to teach small classes a variety of art skills. Our Members are practicing ceramicists who have open access to the studio facilities. As summer fades into Autumn and holidays come to an end we start to gear up for the new evening class groups excited to see what you’ll be making this year. It’s always such a great adventure! I honestly love the summer with hot weather and this sunny spot, but I also like to share it and that’s where you come in - so come on in and ‘Do’ with us. Welcome!

Explore the essentials of pottery in a relaxed, welcoming 3-hour taster at Studio Do in Norwich. Perfect for beginners, this session introduces you to core techniques such as hand-building, coiling, pinching, and an introduction to wheel-throwing. With guidance from experienced tutors, you’ll learn how to shape, refine, and decorate your own piece of work. All materials and tools are provided, and you’ll leave having produced a handmade creation and have a great feel for what working with clay is all about. Includes up to three smaller pieces fired and glazed for collection.

In this intensive 2 day workshop at Studio Do, learn how to prepare and layer tinted clays, slice and shape patterned blocks, and transform them into striking decorative pieces. Guided by Ruby Cheng you’ll explore how colour, pattern, and form come together in this meditative process, leaving with your own uniquely patterned creation. All materials and tools are included.

Hi 👋 a little reintroduction from us at StudioDo.
With lots of new faces here, we wanted to say hello.
We’re Maz and Scott, working with people and clay since 2011 here in Norwich. StudioDo was set up to bridge the gap between student and professional practice — and we started without even having a kiln.
Heading into 2026 and our 15th year, we now run day and evening classes, have our biggest membership to date, and have seen so many clay artists begin their journeys with us. We’re really proud of how far we’ve come and excited for what’s next ✨
