What is Circle Space?

Circle Space is a gallery and flexible creative space for hire. It aims to provide a professional and comfortable environment for the creative community to present their work and ideas to the public. Circle Space also curates a programme of exhibitions and events throughout the year promoting local and visiting artists.

The space is equipped for its main function as an exhibition and pop-up space but it can also seat small groups of up to 6 participants for workshops and meetings.

Circle Space is run by local printmaker and illustrator Vicki Johnson (@printerjohnson) with support from Meredith Adams (@Motherofpots). Vicki has been a practicing artist in the area for over 10 years and understands the requirements for exhibition and pop-up spaces and their visitors.

Circle Space is the sister to neighbouring No.31 (@No.31Norwich), an independent print and paper goods shop co-run by Vicki and fellow illustrator Ali Cottrell (@Wildbyalicottrell). No.31 aims to celebrate all things illustrated and stocks Ali and Vicki’s full ranges alongside a growing collection of work of national and international illustrators, small press and illustrated books, zines and paper stationery.
