We are very excited that Cristina Harrison from the Much Hadham Forge Museum is joining us live on the 4th September at 7.30 pm to discuss the Forges hidden treasure - a remarkable series of Elizabethan wall paintings. Largely hidden from public view for many years, they are absolutely stunning and Cristina is an expert on them. I was lucky enough to visit the paintings earlier this year, - they are incredible, and they have an incredible story to tell.

For the next few days, we are working with some sixth form students who are thinking about studying Archaeology at Uni. They will be getting hands on with a new archive of finds from our own gardens, carrying out more detailed research and building on the information levels in the base catalogue of finds. Stand out finds will feature in a report.
Stay tuned for more updates!

Massive thanks to all our garden volunteers! It has been super challenging to keep on top of the watering, sweeping and cutting back so far this year.
