Thinking about trying a creative class but not sure where to start?

At Westbury Arts Centre, we believe creativity is for everyone. Whether you've never picked up a paintbrush, haven't touched clay since school, or simply want to explore a new hobby, you'll find a welcoming space to begin your creative journey.

Our experienced tutors provide expert guidance in a relaxed and supportive environment, helping you build skills and confidence at your own pace. But what makes Westbury truly special is the community you'll join along the way.

Here, you'll meet like-minded people, share ideas, discover new passions, and enjoy the encouragement that comes from creating alongside others. Many of our learners arrive knowing no one and leave having made lasting friendships.

Set within beautiful surroundings, Westbury offers more than just classes and workshops. It offers a place to connect, belong, and make time for yourself through creativity.

🎨 Learn something new. 🤝 Meet new people. ✨ Discover what you're capable of.

Your creative journey starts at Westbury Arts Centre.

Taking a course or workshop is about more than learning a new skill. It's about finding inspiration, meeting like-minded people, and becoming part of a creative community that encourages you to grow.

We're incredibly proud to have been named winners of the Muddy Stilettos Award for Arts, Culture & Theatre 2026, but this recognition belongs to everyone who makes Westbury such a special place. From our tutors and volunteers to our artists, makers, learners and visitors, Westbury thrives because of the connections we create together.

Whether you're picking up a paintbrush for the first time, developing an existing practice, or exploring a completely new creative path, you'll find expert guidance, encouragement, and a welcoming community every step of the way.

Join a course this autumn and discover that creativity isn't just about what you make. It's about the people you meet and the experiences you share along the journey. 🎨🍁

More art. More inspiration. More moments shared together.

Did you know, the Mayor has chosen Westbury Arts Centre as a supplementary charity for 2026-27 alongside MK Food Bank and MK University Hospital?

We are incredibly proud and grateful for the Mayor's support this year and had the pleasure of welcoming him to our Heritage Open Day celebrations last weekend.

As a thank you for all of his support, a selection of artworks made by our creative community have been loaned to the Mayor's office, including this sweet Robin made by a student of resident sculptor Lindsay Neale Waring.
