Permindar Kaur’s work is often playful, using childlike forms to explore the territory of cultural identity, often including figures fashioned from soft fleece that resemble half-stuffed toys.
We're loving these photos of her work 'Feet' in different locations.

📢 Today would have been the final day to see #MKCalling2020 had we not all had to close & stay home. In light of these events we have decided to postpone this summer’s exhibition which means MK Calling 2020 has been extended until September! We look forward to when we will be able to welcome you back to MK Gallery so you can enjoy these works in person!

"I hand painted & counted every single dot I painted in both pieces. One reason was to show very visually the growth of the population in Milton Keynes & the other was to personally have an appreciation for how many people that actually is[...]" Lisa-Marie Price

"[...]The border around the dots you may recognise is the border of Milton Keynes. When you spend over 70 hours painting 270,000 individual tiny dots you really do appreciate that 270,000 people is a HUGE number. We don’t think about it that was because of the billions of people who live on our planet, it seems like a small number, but it isn’t. I wanted to feel each and every dot painted… and believe me, when you sit over a painting for 70+ hours you really feel it, mentally and physically!"

In 'Side Step, Bow as Arc' & 'Audition for the New You', Kate Parrott brings the language & approaches of sculpture to works in two dimensions. These provide a way for her to work sculpturally but with a playful disregard for the practicalities of 3-D rules.

Hi, I have been trying unsuccessfully to find out what is happening with Saturday Studio - it's not available to book on the website.. ...I have called to be told it's definitely on....I have left a voice mail to the Education department (won't name people on here) and also emailed another person with no response. Please can you clarify what's happening as we love coming and I want to know if it's on this Saturday and future Saturdays. Thank you.
Went there to see Toy Story 4 today (27/07/19), every member of staff I spoke to was friendly, polite & helpful. Will deffinately be going back in the future.
