𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘝𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯: 𝘖𝘣𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳, 𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘗𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘳 ✨

Please join us for the launch of 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘝𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯, a new artist book by Ellie Wyatt, published by Foolscap Editions and hosted by Xxijra Hii.

Across a constellation of references from Galileo to Musk’s Mars colony, Caress Your Vision applies a feminist reading to astronomy - a technology and field dominated by narratives of male genius. Through a typology of found images from popular astronomy magazines and an essay in three parts, Wyatt expands upon the histories of women in astronomy, the entanglement of space science with magic, utopias and colonialism, and the contemporary landscape of a space exploration that is increasingly intertwined with a politicised Big Tech.

We are immensely proud to announce our participation in Frieze London this year with a solo presentation by Yuli Serfaty in the focus section.

“𝘞𝘩𝘰’𝘴 𝘢 𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘎𝘪𝘳𝘭?” is a speculative training simulation where glitch might serve as a form of generative refusal. Drawing on societal gendering of service technologies, a dog-woman-robot is subjected to a training algorithm which expects her to be obedient and predictable. Inspired by feminist technoscience and systems theory, mutation is used as an emergent engine of self-agency. By glitching the simulation she resists her training, “misfires” and embodies a new mode of being.

📆 Join us 14 - 28th October 2026
📍 The Regents Park, London NW1 4LL

📧 info@xxijrahii@net with any enquiries.

We can’t wait to show you this year’s installation in October, huge thanks to Frieze and the focus committee for the opportunity.

We are back with another release on 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑰𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒙𝒙 - our platform dedicated to small work. This edition we are presenting a beautiful portrait by

El Hachem’s paintings are marked by a quiet intensity, where finely rendered figures and symbolic motifs unfold into contemplative, almost meditative compositions. His works often balance delicacy with unease, allowing figures to appear both present and partially dissolved. Through this tension, El Hachem creates paintings that feel composed yet emotionally charged, holding a space between restraint, symbolism and visceral sensation.

Arvida Byström is a multidisciplinary artist whose work is rooted in ideas that deal with the internet and its social, aesthetic and commercial implications. She is known for employing a hyper- feminine aesthetic to explore themes concerning the complexities of femininity, identity, body image, social dynamics, emerging technologies and economic principles through primarily photography, performance and sculpture work.

Previously based in London and Los Angeles, and now living and working in Paris, Byström travels in an aesthetic universe of disobedient bodies, fruits in lingerie, tulips and AI s*x dolls. Her photography, performances and sculptures have been shown in various international institutions, including V&A London and Tate. Last year her work In The Clouds was featured as one of the most defining projects of the year by Art News.
