Art Hub Studios Art Hub Studios provides studios, gallery space and workshops across 2 sites in Deptford & Woolwich.

Art Hub Studios is a studio group housing 200+ artists across two sites in Deptford and Woolwich. It was set up in the 90s by two local artists who still run the group to this day. As a non-profit, Art Hub Studios is invested in keeping studios affordable for artists at all stages of their career, while also providing free access to facilities in ceramics, carpentry and print for all studio members.

Applications for Art Hub Xmas Market 2026 are now open!

This year, we're doing things a little different. We have decided to go with a theme - 'A Maker's Christmas'. Celebrating all things art, design and crafts and most importantly, hand-made. We want to shine a light on handmade products, original designs and of-course, your art. Come and showcase your work, connect with new audiences and be part of the festive celebration. Whether you make prints, paintings, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, illustrations, handmade gifts or something completely unique, we welcome all submissions.

From lumps of clay to beautifully decorated ceramics

Our after-school ceramics programme is coming to an end, and the pieces have now been fired and are ready to be glazed – the final step before they become “real pots”!

Interested in art and making? As part of the Young Greenwich Summer Academy programme, we’re running two FREE art workshops this July, for 12–14-year-olds who live or study in Greenwich, with opportunities to explore various creative techniques.

ASSEMBLY brings together emerging photographic practitioners whose works explore themes of identity, heritage, memory, place, migration, belonging, ecology, faith, healing, and social experience. For the past few weeks, our artist Verity Wong has been getting hands-on with local 10-14 year olds at Art Hub Woolwich. Thanks to the support of Young Greenwich, these free after-school sessions have been the perfect spot to learn the basics of clay hand-building and decorating.

We’ve loved seeing these young makers dive into ceramics—stay tuned to see some of the amazing creations they’ve brought to life! 🏺🙌

This week, Art Hub Studios have been hosting the Urban Tree Festival, being the location for a programme of workshops, talks, walks and the first Urban Forest exhibition.

The Urban Tree Festival is an annual celebration of trees and their benefits, beauty, majesty and magic. Events are held across London and in cities, towns and all urban environments across the UK, bringing all communities together to educate, inspire and share the enjoyment of trees.

Urban Forest Exhibition
A mix of painting, sculpture, installation and interdisciplinary work exploring the idea of the urban forest in a broad and creative way.
