The names of The Wayfinding Trail characters are finally here!
If you've spotted the colourful characters popping up around town, you're about to find out who they are!
Say hello to: 🦀Pinch the Crab 🐦Chips the Seagull🐙Ollie the Octopus
These three were designed by young people from The Littlehampton Academy as part of The Wayfinding Trail and they're now your guides to exploring Littlehampton through three fun family-friendly walking routes!
A huge thank you to everyone who entered our naming competition, we loved reading all your brilliant ideas.💛
For those who missed it or don’t know, each character leads you on a different route through town, connecting the High Street, seafront and riverside with 3D versions of Pinch, Chips and Ollie hidden in local shops and businesses along the way! 👀
You can find them on street signage but also in premises:
🦀Pinch the Crab guides you from the Town Centre to the Riverside: Arun Youth Projects, Quality Textiles, Harbour Lights, Mana Collective and Soul Kitchen
🐦Chips the Seagull guides you from the Town Centre to the seafront: Littlehampton Museum, Ricara, Fit M Fun, Mount Noddy Animal Centre, Pier Road Coffee & Art, Spokes Cycles, Felix Dancewear, Creative Heart, Dove Lodge and Bentleys on the Beach
🐙Ollie the Octopus guides you from the Town Centre to the seafront: Handmade by Wendy, Bah Humbug, Totally Buttons, Arcade Bookshop, Magpies & Butterflies and The Windmill Theatre
