Join us at 1-2pm for a talk on Key Dates in Georgian History with author, Nicholas Travers. This is his second published book and we are delighted that he will be giving a talk here. Talk is £5 and there will be a chance to buy the book and get it signed afterwards...

There will be a sale of Paul Winner drawings and paintings from Sussex and beyond at Arundel Museum from Thursday 30 July to Sunday 2 August, 10-4.

Paul Winner donated this collection to the museum in 2019 to be sold to support the museum.

Paul Winner’s works have been exhibited worldwide.

He was “Artist in Residence” at the 7th World Conference on Religion and Peace in Amman , Jordan in 1999 and 7 of his watercolours of Petra were presented as “life time achievement “awards to the 7 religious leaders who had done the most for world peace.

He was asked by the Ambassador of Bosnia to paint the Bridge at Mostar to mark its re-opening in July 2004 .

In 2003 he was appointed by the Home Office to be “Artist at Large” for the 2004 Holocaust Memorial Day.

THE TIMES: “Everyone’s a Winner. Paul Winner is known for sketching wherever he goes. Now some of his work has found its way into Harrods, where an exhibition of sketches and paintings of London theatres opens today...” Sept 1992
