Celebrate the season and enjoy the fruits of Lotherton's orchard as our popular Harvest event returns on 12 and 13 September.

Home to more than 100 varieties of apple trees, our orchard is famous for producing Lotherton's Heritage Apple Juice and Craft Cider. This is your chance to wander through the orchard and pick your own apples fresh from the trees.

Perfect for families, nature lovers and anyone looking to enjoy a taste of autumn.

Apple picking begins on 12 September and continues throughout the autumn while stocks last. After 13 September, apple bags can be purchased from the Membership Office before heading up to the orchard to collect your apples.

Entry to the orchard is included in your Lotherton general admission ticket/membership.

Woodland Kin invites families to explore, play and unwind together through mindful moments, sensory nature activities, woodland discovery and story-led calm. Held in our Woodland Village beneath the trees, it's the perfect chance to embrace the sights, sounds and wonders of the natural world.

The first ever Lotherton Kite Festival is taking place this weekend and our Wildlife World keepers Kit and Shannon have spotted some familiar faces you might see! 👀

The Kite Festival is taking place 10am to 5pm on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 August. Entry is included in admission to Lotherton, meaning you can also take time to explore the rest of the estate including Lotherton Hall, the gardens, and Wildlife World.

Look to the skies this weekend as we host our first ever Kite Festival 🪁

Join us on 22 and 23 August, 10am to 5pm, as we welcome our partners from the Northern Kite Group for a spectacular weekend!

Head to our event field and marvel at incredible kite displays from expert flyers, featuring stunt flying demonstrations and a sky filled with colourful characters, animals, mythical creatures and childhood favourites.

Expect some of the world's largest inflatable kites ✨

Don't forget to bring your favourite teddy along for the chance to take part in our teddy bear drop, where bears will parachute safely back down to their owners 🧸

Included in your general admission ticket, you won't want to miss a weekend full of fun!
