Open on Saturday's from 10:00 until 16:00 and other dates as advertised. Please note when visiting, Parking is on the road (Marine Parade West) and surrounding roads. Parking on Marine Parade west is metered but other local roads vary. This will show up as Drake Road which is after

the Museum's Entrance. Please do not put in PO13 9YA as that will take you to the back gate. Contact address:

Whether visiting as a family, an enthusiast or just plain curious, we offer something for everyone!
Overlooking the seafront at Lee-on-the-Solent, and based on the old Daedalus naval base, we are the only Hovercraft Museum in the world. One of Hampshire’s unique attractions, it’s a collection of international significance and is entirely volunteer-run.

Want to know what’s ’upstairs’?

Our visitors can sit in cabins and even sit at the controls of some of our exhibits and pretend to fly them.
Whilst it’s not possible to provide access to every cockpit or control cabin, you can take a virtual tour of them simply by scanning the code at the base of the ladder when you are onboard!

The Hovercraft Museum is open every Saturday and Sunday AND Bank Holiday Monday too!

It’s all happening down in Lee-on-the-Solent this weekend, with Summer in Lee in full swing!

This weekend is the perfect opportunity to combine a visit to the event with visiting our award winning museum.
