This Halloween, check out The Sculpture Park in Surrey for spooky sculptures scattered along a 2 mile woodland trail.
Our permanent outdoor gallery features skeletons, spiders, owls, dragons and other eerie exhibitions to set your hair on end. You can even experience complete darkness in our immersive mineshaft exhibit.
But if you can’t make it during October do not fear, we are open every day of the year and our sculptures are here until they are sold.

Check out this community artwork created by local children in Farnham! The artwork has been installed at New Ashgate Gallery as part of Pippa Ward's exhibition, celebrating her time as Surrey Artist of the Year.
Over 100 children took part in a series of community and family workshops where they learned about plastics in our environment whilst having fun creating the artwork using discarded bottle tops. Visit New Ashgate Gallery before 6th November to see what has been created!

Good luck to everyone running the #LondonMarathon2021 tomorrow.
Sunday 3rd October 2021 sees the return of this iconic event for the first full-scale staging of the race in more than two years. Over 40,000 runners will join some of the world's best on the 26.2 mile course through England's capital city.
It is 40 years since the first 6,700 participants pounded the streets in the London Marathon 1981, and with the last 2 April races being cancelled due to the pandemic, tomorrow is set to be a memorable occasion.

It's Biggie's final week 😢
Thank you to everyone who has visited The Sculpture Park this summer and had the pleasure of meeting our resident Shona artist 'Biggie' (Bigbrain Chikodzi).
He is now enjoying his final days with us until he heads back to Zimbabwe next week for the winter (chasing the sun!?).
Biggie brings the largest UK exhibition of Shona sculpture to The Sculpture Park, which can be enjoyed and purchased by our visitors throughout the year.
Shona sculpture is the name given to a modern movement of stone carved sculpture created in Zimbabwe. It gets its name from the ‘Shona’ tribe of people (actually a mixture of many similar tribes with closely related language and culture) who are the largest in Zimbabwe. The country itself gets its name thanks to the Shona people’s long artisan tradition of stone working, meaning “house of stone”.
If you haven't yet had the chance to meet Biggie, do come along this weekend when he will be happy to meet and chat with you, sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience of this evolving art form. Sculptures all available to purchase in support of the artists who usually rely on the tourist trade for their income.

Another week, another off-site installation in a stunning location...
We are delighted to be joining Leeds Castle, Kent ('The loveliest castle in the world!') for their 'Sculptures at the Castle: A Botanical Showcase', running throughout September.
Sculptures from one of our featured artists, Ruth Moilliet, are placed sympathetically within the gardens and grounds of the historic Castle during the month long exhibition, along with over 30 other floral inspired sculptures.
Ruth Moilliet produces highly finished metal and glass sculptures inspired by the plant kingdom. In her work she aims to draw the viewer’s attention to both the overall spectacle and individual beauty of a flower.
We were delighted to be asked to exhibit at The Hurlingham Club inaugural Arts Festival, taking place this week, within their 42 acres of magnificent grounds.
A hand picked selection of The Sculpture Park's collection is on exhibition within the private member's club's green oasis, for the rest of this week.

Our resident Zimbabwean Sculptor, Biggie Chikodzi, has been hard at work over the last few months; preparing his Shona shipment to create a monumental display.
Shona sculpture from a hand-picked selection of talented, established and emerging Zimbabwean artists, across all three generations, are now displayed throughout The Sculpture Park.
These tactile creations are a joy to behold, and give even greater pleasure to take home and love for a lifetime. All sculpture sales benefit the artists who have had a difficult time during the pandemic, as they usually rely on the tourist trade for income.

Hope everyone enjoyed the heat wave and is now cooling off nicely.
A visit to The Sculpture Park can be enjoyed in any weather; the trees and valley make it cooler in the summer and provide shelter in the rain.
Bring a cold drink or flask of tea and dress for the weather so you are ready for a 2-3 hour cultural walk.

An enchanting installation.
These 2 sculptures made their way from The Sculpture Park in Surrey, over to a lucky customer’s garden in sunny France.
Awakening by Peter Lyell Robinson, is now getting ready to take a dip in the pool. While Wild Boar by Tanya Russell is trotting past the driveway, causing visitors to double-take (as wild boats are common in the area)
We loved receiving these photos as it is always a pleasure to see sculptures in their new homes.

For art lovers, collectors, sculptors, photographers and nature enthusiasts, The Sculpture Park, Churt, near Farnham in Surrey is a hidden gem. From the gates you may not expect the treasures beneath, but on entering the 10 acre site you are transported into a magical world of water gardens, arboretum and incredible sculpture.
Hidden away in this area of outstanding natural beauty, over 1000 sculptures from over 300 artists are on display for all to see. Many marvel at the sheer number, size and diversity of the works, finding something for every taste, style and budget.
A two mile trail winds and weaves though the rhododendrons, past the lakes and over the streams. Steps have been carefully cut into the hills and bridges have been constructed across the babbling brooks.
