The Sculpture Park has been back open to visitors for 4 days now and all is going well!

Being a 10 acre outdoor gallery, social distancing while enjoying art is highly achievable. To ensure a safe and enjoyable day for all our visitors we have also put in the following measures:

- Time allocated tickets are limited and must be pre-booked via our website.
- Our trail is colour coded and numbered, creating a 2 mile one way system
- Checking-in is contactless and often outdoors
- A one-household policy is in place for the indoor reception and gallery
- Toilets with hand-washing are open and cleaned regularly
- Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance, reception and toilets

For full terms & conditions, further H&S info and FAQ please visit: www.thesculpturepark.com/online-tickets-tcs-faq-and-further-guidelines/

This recent article from The Telegraph really brings The Sculpture Park to life and accurately portrays the immersive experience created by this eclectic collection of over 1000 sculptures.

"The park’s atmosphere has a kinetic vibrancy to it; with elegant figures sauntering through the saplings and wild beasts rampantly roaming through a plethora of geometric Goliaths, abstract anatomy and psychedelic pop-art"

One pine forest, three lakes, hundreds of sculptures and tens of thousands of indigenous flora and fauna: for the Powell family, the experience of turning a lifelong hobby into a world-renowned business was simultaneously enjoyable and challenging."

With The Chelsea Flower Show currently in full (virtual) swing, we thought we'd share some throwback photos of years gone by.... Here is The Sculpture Park enjoying the pleasure of exhibiting at this iconic British event.

Do you have a favourite display, or recognise any of the sculptures? Or did you have the pleasure of attending the show in person, during any of these years? (2009 - 2013)

Great to see local school St Ives School Haslemere embracing their art challenge in such a creative and amusing way. Amazing work kids!!

How good are these! 😆

Children at St Ives School in #Haslemere have starred in their own masterpieces as part of the school’s latest #TogetherWhilstApart challenge.

As part of the new remote learning curriculum, pupils are being set a weekly challenge that is purely for fun and allows them to be creative, using just what they may have in their houses.

This week’s challenge was to dress up as a famous artist or painting – and the results are astonishing!

The school has received so many diverse entries – from Elizabeth I to Rapahel’s Two Cherubs, to Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe to Manet’s Jeanne – and has been thrilled with the response.

Kay Goldsworthy, headteacher, said: “Everyone has been so creative and clever with their entries and they’ve made us roar with laughter.”

Exceptional times call for exceptional leadership.⁣

On this day, the 75th anniversary of V.E Day we remember those who led our country through adversity to victory and remember those we lost.

"My dear friends, this is your hour. This is not victory of a party or of any class. It’s a victory of the great British nation as a whole."⁣

With the UK now many weeks into lockdown, we couldn't help noticing a connection in some of our favourite sculptures.

From daily walks, spending time with our children, missing our loved ones, regular trips to the fridge for food and excessive wine drinking, these pieces reflect some of the common experiences of life in quarantine.

We hope you enjoy our lockdown sculptures as a lighthearted look at these unusual times.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the NHS for the amazing work they are doing, saving lives and looking after us. We are also incredibly grateful to the key workers who are keeping this country running.

For art lovers, collectors, sculptors, photographers and nature enthusiasts, The Sculpture Park, Churt, near Farnham in Surrey is a hidden gem. From the gates you may not expect the treasures beneath, but on entering the 10 acre site you are transported into a magical world of water gardens, arboretum and incredible sculpture.

Hidden away in this area of outstanding natural beauty, over 1000 sculptures from over 300 artists are on display for all to see. Many marvel at the sheer number, size and diversity of the works, finding something for every taste, style and budget.

A two mile trail winds and weaves though the rhododendrons, past the lakes and over the streams. Steps have been carefully cut into the hills and bridges have been constructed across the babbling brooks.

A folly nestles above a waterfall, a giant tarantula towers over a grassed picnic area and many pieces of sculptural furniture create the hundreds of photo opportunities throughout the park.

Three lakes complement the park's diverse landscape and are home to an abundance of water creatures and unusual sculptural features.

Open all year round and every day, the evolving seasons create an ever changing landscape.

Toilet facilities, an indoor gallery and picnic areas make it an ideal day out for everyone and anyone

Hello. Do you have plans to open again soon, following social distancing rules, now the gov has announced travel and unlimited excersize are allowed?
Definitely a place I’d like to visit!
Hi, came here any years ago and loved it. Would love to cone again, but I can't remember if itnis buggy friendly or not? Can anyone advise? X
Great day at The Sculpture Park, as usual. Love coming here every year. TOOK loads of photos but these my fav, plus we even made some new friends 🙂
The sheer variety and imagination. Excellence in many of the sculptures and quirkiness in others.
We do love this place and our Grandson gets very excited when he can come with us 😍
What a gem of a place!!! Spent nearly three hours just feasting on these works of art. Why haven't I've heard of it before?
Spent the day here yesterday, absolutely amazing place and some magnificent sculptures; wanted to buy so many of them. And followed that with a hot Gin, and coffee and cake in the Pub opposite. Well worth a visit.
Are you open this time of year?! Coming down to Surrey in a fortnight..enjoyed the park last year...👌
