Do you have a square that's not made it here yet?

We are getting ready to display all the squares for the Haslemere panels which will be on display from 27th November so if you have a square that for whatever reason hasn't found its way here yet there is still time. If you can get it to us by November 10th it can still be included and we really want to include as many squares as possible in this amazing record of the pandemic

Our latest exhibition in the Terrace Room is captivating and so thought provoking. "Textures of Understanding" by Denise Jones explores embroidery of the suffragettes who were imprisoned for window breaking in the early 1900s. If you have time it is highly recommended to visit.

Our Story

We hold numerous events throughout the year for people of all ages from Early Years to children and families to teens to adults.

We are a fully independent Museum and we rely entirely on donations and support from the public. We have a fantastic membership scheme, which offers benefits to members for exceptional value annually. Membership is one of the streams that contributes to the valuable, educational work that we do.

The Spirit of Woodstock. 7pm Fri 10th. Outdoor theatre, Haslemere Educational Museum, All of the festy vibe, less of the mud....+ the history, music, people & stories that wrapped around the times. Come, discover, groove, laugh, cry, & fly to the moon. The weather's looking good! “...an amazing rollercoaster which is moving, hilarious, revealing and joyful. Jonathan is a high speed shapeshifter!” Mark Mansbridge “Heart opening, funny, brilliantly researched, excellently delivered... perfect antidote to the recent chaos... treat yourselves.” Virginia Farman “This stunningly talented guy takes a bit of scaffolding and some cardboard props and, by turning quickfire into 75 different characters, brings Woodstock to life - AND the moon landings AND a bit of Vietnam. Witty, heartbreaking, insightful. Not to be missed” Jill Goulder https://www.tickettailor.com/events/somethingundergroundtheatre/500281
The Spirit of Woodstock. Open air theatre collage of the stories and era around Woodstock 69. 10th Sept, Haslemere Educational Museum. “The best feelgood, dance along, piece of theatre I've ever seen. Really brought everyone together. Highlight of my festival" via Sally Edwards. “Among the festival highlights were watching Jonathan Brown's one man play about Woodstock. If you get a chance to see this, do it!” Adam Wilder “this was my festival highlight - utterly brilliant piece of work - and hope many many get to see it. Thank you!!!” Bianca Gavin "Proper loved your show today. My Dad was at Woodstock. Brought back a whole lot of memories for him, you did it brilliantly. We loved it. Mum & Dad raved about your performance all weekend. Absolute respect for what you’re doing, thank you" Emily Westlake. https://www.tickettailor.com/events/somethingundergroundtheatre/500281

🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻 HAVE YOU SEEN FERDY? There has been a very recent possible sighting of him in Hastlemere we are following up. Please share! Every pair of eyes counts and could be the key to get him home. Ferdy's mom is missing him terribly and we just want him home, no questions asked.
May I add a link to your website, and vice versa?
Hi. When will the Museum be open? Thanks.
Hi. We got your letter. I will pop a small donation in the post. Good luck.
Myself and my husband brought our 3 children to your museum and they loved looking around all the things you have there. Is was a good day x Thank you x
I just wanted to thank u so much for opening today and allowing my little boy to see father Christmas in his own time and in quiet. He was amazing with Sebastian. Allowing him time to get used to the room and to father Christmas. Thank u again for a amazing experience.
