Please enjoy this piece by Adrian Wiszniewski RSA. The scene depicts a melancholic child in his bed, encircled by figures attempting to uplift him from his mood through acts of play and amusement.
Adrian Wiszniewski’s ‘Shepherds’ follows a well established theme: man’s relationship with the animal kingdom, and the moral issues that come with it. The picture’s protagonists, set in abundant bright flowers, are farmers, but more universally they are the family who shop for meat every week, who connive to kill animals, yet profess to love the countryside.
