The Wheels of Time scheme rewards young visitors to heritage and cultural sites across Kent with a badge given at each location visited. 10 sites visited gets a Bronze award. You may think that nothing goes on in the museum over the winter… but that is when the curator and archivists are at their busiest! A new medal cabinet is now nearly full with many awards made to local people from all sorts of different fields. Each has been researched and displayed, some for the first time. Come and see for yourself.

Only a couple of days to go until Cranbrook Museum reopens for the 2026 season! New attractions include a Hat Trail for children where they can find and try on hats associated with our history- also a revamped hat display featuring hats not exhibited before. Plus a Hat Spotter quiz. Plenty to interest grown ups as well as children! Open from April 1st, 2.00 -4.30 Tuesday- Saturday plus Bank Holiday Monday. Entry is free although a donation is always welcome!

It’s nearly time for our Christmas meeting and what a wonderful subject we have- the history of Canterbury Cathedral. Tomorrow in the Vestry Hall at 7.30 with doors open at 7.00 for festive refreshment.
