To my Magdelene sisters, and everyone who walks a path of healing, compassion and courage.
Today on the feast day of Mary Magdelene, i simply want to pause for a moment to honour a women whose story has inspired countless people throughout the centuries.
For me, Mary Magdelene represents resilience.
She reminds us that our past does not define us,
That we can stand back up after lifes hardest seasons, and that there is a quiet strength in choosing love, truth and hope, even when the road has been difficult.
Whether you see her as a saint, a teacher, a seeker or simply a remarkable human being, her story speaks to something we all understand...the ability to endure, to transform and to keep our hearts open.
May we all find the courage to rise again, to be kind to one another, and to remember that even after the darkest night, there is always the promise of a new dawn.
Happy Feast Day, Mary Magdelene.
