Featuring potters from Surrey and Hampshire, this new exhibition explores the full spectrum of clay: wheel-thrown, sculpted, and hand-built.

From atmospheric wood-fired and raku pieces to gas-reduced and modern kiln finishes, celebrate the individuality and technical skill of local makers.

Founded in 1957 by mouth painter Erich Stegmann, the MFPA empowers artists with disabilities to achieve financial independence through their art.

Today, over 750 artists across 72 countries create original works by holding brushes in their mouth or toes.

Their paintings are reproduced as greeting cards, calendars, and gifts. Visit our gallery in Alton to explore the collection and support our artists!

Artist Spotlight: Neo Bissonnet 📸

We are delighted to introduce local Hampshire photographer Neo Bissonnet Neo Bissonnet .

Currently honing his craft at Farnham College, Neo specialises in landscape, architecture, and automotive photography.

Working through the distinct aesthetic of vintage digital cameras, Neo turns his lens toward the subtle moments that make everyday life extraordinary. His work is defined by a meticulous study of atmosphere — observing how natural light shapes a scene and exploring the rich, tactile contrast between highlight and shadow.

Neo’s current body of work delves into the dialogue between contemporary spaces and historical environments, examining how human presence navigates and reshapes both worlds.

The Creative Horizons exhibition celebrates the artistic talent discovered by the Unique Art Awards - a national competition open to young artists who live with a disability.

During the 10 years of the Unique Art Awards , it has discovered many exceptionally gifted young artists across the UK. We are showcasing Artwork which has reached the 2026 Finals, plus artwork from previous artists who have been involved in the competition.

The Unique Art Awards and the Freedom Through Expression Gallery are supported by the MFPA (Mouth and Foot Painting Association) Trust Fund for Training Disabled Children and Adults.

If you are reading this and you know of a local young artist, who maybe neurodivergent or lives with a learning/physical disability talk to us, the MFPA Trust Fund is continuing to seek and help new emerging artists.
